
The national sales area in C.I. PROBAN S.A. counts winth
a center of distribution located in the city of Bogota.
This center is equipped with cameras in which technified
processes of maturation are made, where parameters are controlled
like: temperature, humidity and ethylene. This process guarantees
a greater duration of the product, the total conversion
of sugar starches and an excellent consistency of the fruit.
In
this reception center the received bananas are Cavendish
variety, coming from the Uraba zone. The Cavendish Banana
is ideal to consume in fresh, with milky cereals and, for
a lot of preparations, since its pleasant sugar level obtains
a balance in all prescriptions.
When
the fruit is received, is stored in optimal conditions and
later matured with a permanent quality control throughout
the process, before to be dispatched to our clients.
The
fruit is received packed, from the production farms, in
a cardboard box with a net weight of 18 kg; the cardboard
is of high resistance to protect the fruit of blows and
bad handles; it also has, a plastic stock market that avoids
the friction of the fruit with the packing and allows to
maintain the humidity of the product.
